I found myself humming What I Like Most About You Is Your Girlfriend the other day.
There are several Specials threads on ILM, but In The Studio http://2-tone.info/2tone.pl?show151& is not mentioned once.
The album is clearly a flawed project, but it's nothing if not intriguing. Will the Specials reunion at the end of the year pretend it never happened, or is it due a reappraisal? What are your memories of it?

Suffers a bit from overcrowded production in places - would have loved some tighter arrangements. But sometimes the sloppy, skew whiff delivery just works.
Always liked "What I Like Most About You..." And "Racist Friend" is one of the most direct, no-holds political statements I can think of outside of "Archives Of Pain"
