The title track.

Voting restricted to those who remember the 1970s (which may or may NOT mean you weren't there.)

"A doll," said William, "is what I need, to wash and clean and dress and feed. A doll to give a bottle to, and put to bed when day is through. And any time my doll gets ill, I'll take good care of it," said my friend Bill.

Damn, this is tough. The title track will probably win the poll, but my heart is with "When We Grow Up" or "William's Doll". In my school in 1982, "It's All Right to Cry" probably would have won, thanks to the teacher's voting bloc.

I think I'm one of the few in my generation who grew up with this (1988).

This is missing something very important:

Oh, whoops -- it's listed in the poll as Diana Ross. Should be Michael Jackson and Roberta Flack. Unless there's another version I'm not aware of? When my daughter was 2 we found an old VHS copy of this and she watched "When We Grow Up" about 400,000 times and fell in love with Michael Jackson. Alas, that phase is over...

I think this is the great unmade charity tribute record. I would like to hear Low (or a reunited Galaxie 500) do the title song.

Rosey Grier, definitely.

We had to watch that movie every year in elementary school. And we LIKED IT.

Diana Ross sang the album version. The Jacko/Flack version was from a TV special based on the album.
