I never made the Baby Bitch/Elliott connection before, but you may be onto something. Both of those songs are tremend.

yeah, the first time i heard baby bitch i thought it was a parody of elliott. turns out that album came out before his first solo album, i think.

Jon Auer from The Posies covered "Baby Bitch" on a solo EP and made it even more Elliott Smith-like.

There's even "fuck you's" in the lyrics to "Baby Bitch.." which is very Elliott.. although it's followed by "stinkin ass ho" which is sorta not like Elliott at all..

yo i thought "baby bitch" was an elliott smith parody literally since i heard it, googled it and found this thread and now i just don't know how to feel. the vibe is so uncanny.
