TS: Paul Weller vs Andre 3000

It strikes me as these two guys are pretty similar figures, being as they are both involved in the recording of a number of great songs, and yet I think I'd be happier if both had taken up careers as short order cooks instead. Compare and contrast here, then VOTE.

By a quick count I reckon Dre has done at least twice as many songs I love as Weller. Also, to the best of my knowledge, Andre has never been referred to as the Modfather. So this is an easy decision for me.

Andre 3000 always talks about how he doesn't wanna rap all his life and wants to focus on acting, and sees himself in 10 years "in a nightclub somewhere playing a saxophone." So far his film career has included such acclaimed box office smashes as Be Cool, Semi-Pro, Hollywood Homicide, and Idlewild. Can't wait to see what the jazz critics think of him.
