I remember seeing Butterglory play at Brownies and it was so much fun for about three songs and then the saminess of it all kind of hit home. Still hold onto their albums though...kind of the Pop Tarts (yummy, zero nutrition, snack) of indie rock.

Guv'ner got less interesting as they went on (read: learned to play thier instruments). As a totally inept, sloppy bedroom band, they were the tits!

I've only heard one track by Guv'ner (that being "I Will Get You" on a Threadwaxing Space compilation), and I found it so insanely irritating that I routinely put it on mixtapes for other people for the sheer purpose of annoyance. Funny thing is, though, I grew to love it. Never heard Butterglory. And the poll's over. So this is all pointless.
