Korean Buddhist God - Magnum You

Pretty much shit but enjoying 11 minute "Tyranno You I" which sounds a lot like Super Roots 1 -- repetitive guitar riff and lots of metalic percussion. Some Beach Boys / Animal Collective vocal harmonies in the later half and a more melodic guitar line bring this into Ween / Omoide Hatoba territory.

How much of this stuff is there? Must be a lot, but I've never heard it. I remember liking Super Cool, a Captain Condoms 7" EP that Public Bath put out back in the early 90s. If any Boredoms comparison can be made, maybe it sounds like a grungified version of early stuff like "Young Assouls"? (And maybe that = "Telehorse Uma".) Probably best compared to generic AmRep/Noiseville stuff. Still love the song "Great Captain", mostly for the riff leading up to "I'm a great captain...Super Cool!"
