its a continuous mix, but not too jumpy/ you hear most tracks from pretty much start to finish.

Gat Decor "Passion". Last tune of the night, on the first night that I, errrr, experienced dance music culture to its fullest extent. (There was group hugging involved.)

it's 'passion'. carl cox dropped it the other night at circus and it sounded like the best house track ever.

It irks me that the track selection is on the whole pretty decent tried & true classics, while the trance tracks on this are absolute rubbish. So many bonafide anthems to choose from, Universal Nation, Gouryella, Adagio For Strings, Airwave, Communication, Unfinished Symphony, Fragile, Silver Bath. And they do they pick? Sandstorm, Saltwater and Castles In The Sky.

Those trance tracks weren't big UK hits though, not like Sandstorm or Castles. Pretty much everything on this was enormous or ubiquitous or both in this county, that's kind of the criteria for selection.

Fuck this is hard, at first sight I was all "Don't You Want Me" but up against "Ripgroove" and "Not Over Yet" and "Satisfaction" I'm well torn.

for big yet good trance they should've at least had 'Cafe Del Mar', and maybe 'Seven Days And One Week'

but then no 'Dreamer', 'Professional Widow', 'Renegade Master', 'Music Sounds Better With You' or 'Lady' here either

Felix Don't You Want Me (Hooj HOOS Remix)

Sandstorm is great! Been listening to "You Don't Know Me" (& uh "Hybridz", waaay too early for the "No Way Back" revival, Armand!) heaps recently, but in my sleep-deprived state skimming down the list of titles, it's "Call On Me" that's stuck in my head so I gotta go with that, best heard-from-a-passing-car track ever.
