I JUST HEARD THIS SHIT ON THE RADIO -- I can ride my bike w/out handlebars, I can rule a nation w/ a microphone, I can order pizza thru the Internet HOLY GOD SHUT THE FUCK UP and go back to writing edgy sock-puppet skits for your college TV station.
2 Skinny J's have so much to answer for.
― David R., Tuesday, 6 May 2008 18:56 (seventeen years ago)
I heard it while grabbing my lunch today -- when I got back to my desk, I Googled some of the lyrics, and about 20 folks QUOTING THIS SHIT ON MYSPACE came up before I got any info on the identity of this fuckstick of a band.

Somebody feels my pain.

This goddamn sack of a song is going to make kids think it's cool to run "One Mic" through a Soul Coughing filter AND IT IS FUCKING NOT COOL.
― David R., Wednesday, 18 June 2008 18:55 (seventeen years ago)

David R OTM throughout thread. 2 SKINNEE Js conspicuously absent from that list up top too... (disclaimer I totally know those guys and they never intended for this to happen and they're very sorry).
Also I just want to be clear that "One Mic" is still awesome.
― rogermexico., Wednesday, 18 June 2008 23:39 (seventeen years ago)
had to hear "handlebars" again (for work!) today, along with a bunch of other bad denver music. still awful!
― tylerw, Wednesday, 27 February 2013 21:59 (twelve years ago)
haha I don't remember starting this thread. I do have a theory that no good music has ever come from Denver. The only exceptions I've been able to come up with are a couple EWF members and the Hercules and Love Affair guy.
