I'm amazed I hadn't started a classic or dud, search/destroy thread on these guys years ago.
So let's have one since there's a new album.

2008 album from the musical collective that surrounds songwriter Robert Fisher. Pilgrim Road features orchestral instruments mixed with more traditional band instruments in a collection of songs written and recorded in Glasgow, Scotland. The record features musicians form Glasgow along with many members of the band. Co-written by Robert Fisher and Malcolm Lindsay, Pilgrim Road continues to develop some of the musical ideas from 2003's Regard The End.

Total classic in my book. My favourite album by them is Flying Low but I like pretty much everything they've ever done.

Just heard the new one just now actually. Seems pretty good on 1st listen.

Bought the new one the other week. Not listened properly yet; put it on when it arrived but wasn't in the mood. Seemed very religious. Was hoping, perhaps, for more brimstone. Blame Lift To Experience. Isn't the previous one to this quite ROCKING at times? Worth investigating?
