I was searching for the first instance of the word 'mp3' on ILX earlier (its kind of like traveling back in time and watching history unfold). For all of the changes in musical trends and technology since ILX's inception, their have to be loads of threads that seem a little silly now in hindsight- pledging allegiance to bands that now make you cringe, buying into questionable trends, bold predictions that never came true, etc. Anyone have any good examples?
