kids, lets talk about pumice! im listening to raft and yeahnahvienna right now and its just the perfect lo-fi drift for my afternoon of easy work....my world feels richer, though the aesthetics are far from grand.
"brawl", the song currently playing, is just good buzzy little pop rubbed by steel wool. it has an almost K records vibe, but without the cheap tweeness.

"brawl" is awesome. most plaintive delivery of the line "d'you wanna go, cunt ... i'll take youse aaalll on" possible.
raft is k-classic. that "the hydroslide's got a razor in the side" line in "exciting and awful" rings very, very true.
fave earlier pumice song = "tickle war".
