Candlebox, only because they have a couple half-decent tunes on their third album (why I own that, I'm not sure)... but Collective Soul just kept churning out minor variations on the same songs over and over again at 311-like levels of single-mindedness.

"Heavy" is one of those songs I can't bring myself to dislike. Don't believe I've ever heard any Candlebox.

I like nearly every single Collective Soul single I've ever heard except "Shine" and I don't care who knows! I heard "Gel" in a taxi the other day I was totally rocking out with the be-mulletted driver. We were one. It was quite good!

i remember when lucy was released it was denounced as a massive flop. don't quite know how anyone expected much from it, given it was following up a mediocre debut.

regardless i don't harbour massive resentment towards candlebox. collective soul, on the other hand, are bland and pointless to the point of being offensive.
