i might listen to it later. fwiw i really liked "can't help but wait", i just find the dude superfluous on rap records esp. when he's really trying to sing. on "can't help but wait" he barely changes the range of his voice so it sounds aiight

I don't think I've particularly liked a single Trey Songz track or guest appearance ever (oh wait, he kind of has the only good hook on We Global), and overemoting vibrato he does on songs like "Can't Help But Wait" is pretty annoying, but I don't really understand what's worth hating about dude, he's pretty average.

I know Trey Songz was kind of one of the first R&B dudes to do a lot of rapper-style freestyle mixtape tracks, back before his first album dropped, but is there really any novelty in it any more? By this point a lot of other people (R. Kelly, Raheem DeVaughn, Amerie) have done it and usually do it better.

Yeah, I mean I can't knock it, it's a cool idea and usually more creative than MC freestyles because they end up coming up with whole new vocal melodies, DeVaughn's on at least the 5th volume of his mixtape series and has had some real gems.

i don't hate trey songz really i just groan when i see him on a tracklist and as i said earlier never think in my head "man im glad trey songz just sung!!"

this was one of the best things ever - no joke me the dudes i was with must've rapped this in full 25 times over 3 days - i've never experienced anything like it - "put on" would come on the radio literally every 10 mins, it was like a joke but no one got sick of it
