Flying North! I love that song so much.

Flying North is the best damn song he ever did.

i love "flying north", but about 25 years ago i was mildly obesessed with "one of our submarines," so i voted for that.

"Airwaves". Some wonderful chord changes in there. The entire album is ace though.

i would also like to see this get reissued with all the tracks that were on any of the versions. [ with the original cover art please.]

submarines has a good video too.

i had not listened to this since the mid 80s. i forgot about its use of nyc metro references (where i listened to it at the time). that seemed odd to me on rehearing.

woah, this album's great, how did I miss it. There are definitely hints of Peter Gabriel-era Genesis, weirdly enough.

Oh and more news: I recently agreed terms with EMI to re-release my first two albums! Looks like they will be in some sort of ‘enhanced’ format, possibly including alternative mixes and B-sides. This should happen early in 2009.

I always read "Wreck of the Fairchild" as "Wreck of the Fairlight," figuring that the keyboard probably crashed a lot.

One of my all-time favorite albums, somehow I've never gotten sick of "She Blinded Me With Science" either.
