Bishop's Robes is Bends-era (Street Spirit B-Side).

Z S, Saturday, 7 June 2008 04:05 (seventeen years ago)

my mistake.. it's on the no surprises ep.

billstevejim, Saturday, 7 June 2008 04:08 (seventeen years ago)

Meeting in the Aisle for me, a bit throwaway but haunting nonetheless.

MaresNest, Saturday, 7 June 2008 08:37 (seventeen years ago)

How I Made My Millions, def. But Meeting in the Aisle is a close second.

The Airbag EP is up there with HTTT in my fave Radiohead releases pantheon. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. "A Reminder" is just about my favourite RH song, so there does my vote fall.

Just about forgotten how they all sounded so I went through them again. Was thinking "oh well it's obviously A Reminder"... then I heard How I Made My Millions. Damn.

It's all about the miserablism - so Melatonin for joint runner-up.

Polyethylene here - one of their best songs imho

What? No "Climbing Up the Walls (Zero 7 Mix)" (b-side to "Karma Police")??

The Bends B-Sides are much better than the OK Computer ones.

I like both CUTW remixes a lot but including them means the "Pearly" remix needs inclusion along with the live versions of Airbag and Lucky which do not especially fit in.

You should make a Bends b-sides poll.

Automatic thread bump. This poll is closing tomorrow.

"Meeting in the Aisle"

Based on the responses 1st place should be a 4-way tie.. yippeeee.

I never understood why "Polyethylene" got all the BIG ROCKER props when it comes to this set of songs. Great tune and all, its just that "Palo Alto" is so much better.

Automatic thread bump. This poll's results are now in.

Rockers 1 Miserabilists 0

The results don't surprise me. But Polyethylene always felt like a godsend for people who wanted The Bends, pt. 2. I went with Pearly*, which wouldn't exactly fit in on OKC, but sounds like more of a leap forward to me than Polyethylene.

Z S, Sunday, 15 June 2008 23:11 (seventeen years ago)

If I were to rank the Airbag EP, it would go A Reminder >>> Airbag > Meeting In The Aisle >> Palo Alto > Pearly >>>> Polyethylene >>>>>> Melatonin, with Melatonin still being "really quite good".
