A great, underrated album by the ex-Byrds vocalist. I am going with "Because of You", though the different rendition of "One in a Hundred" (which appeared on Roadmaster) is also sparkling.

of the 3 "new" tunes i would rank

1. for no one - absolutely gorgeous, some nice picking by gene too!
2. jimmy christ - kinda short and fragment-like but still quite strong
3. please mr. freud - gene in ott dylan mode, goofy fun but probably will end up skipping this one most of the time

I can't believe the fidelity of this album. It's over 40 years old, recorded in some cabin and sounds perfect.
