Nice!!!!! I'm going with the extended solo that follows "Wet T-Shirt" (here dubbed "On the Bus" but I remember also being referred to as "Toad-O Line.") One of the most amazing guitar solos EVAH.

I love this album so much.

yeah, this entire record has some great guitar work. the "on the bus"/"toad-o line" solo being quite good.

i also like zappa's near-ambient guitar noodling on "outside now" and "he used to cut the grass" -- as close as the old guy got to ambient.

The title track is excellent. The rest is..... well... it may be entertaining at times...

I'm goin' with "Central Scrutinizer," just because the scene-setting sci-finess of it thrilled the shit of of 12-year-old J0hn D. That cinematic sort of full-backstory set up was really exciting.

Then again, we didn't have ready access to pornography in those days, so I must have played "Catholic Girls" about 1,000 times that year.

though the "central scrutinizer" schtick DID get old ... and annoying ... as the record went on.

also, i voted for "watermelon in easter hay" -- how could i not?? -- though i am also very fond of "packard goose" (which also has some great guitar playing).
