I Enjoy Sightings; please recommend bands of a similar nature of whom I may not have heard

Hmmm...

Sightings are pretty unique. Their records sound really good, they actually know how to play, and their intensity level is generally higher (ie the Scott Walker cover) than most of their immediate peers

But try Brainbombs, Fushitsusha, Eloe Omoe, Heavy Winged, Mouthus, and lots of stuff on the PSF label for starters.
