i've only heard one song that i know of, something my gf put on a mix for me.

I still love the Martian Saints EP. Her cover of "I Figured You Out" is wonderful.

Also, I remember reading that she rewrote "His Indie World" as "His N.D. World" and changed the indie band to alt-country bands. I've never heard it or run across lyrics, so I can't confirm it as true, but it's a nice idea.

it's a funny song considering the dudes i know who want to meet indie girls and bemoan their inability to do so.

i don't mind some jingle jangle morning but she's a mediocre songwriter at best

her cover songs, on her oldest tapes, before the KRS single, are the only things worth searching out

i liked the b-side of the some jingle jangle morning single, western union desperate. not the cast no shadow version so much.

the question is, is she repeating kim's name in that song or are there four different kims?

Always had a soft spot for Mary Lou. Her cover of 'Fearless' (Pink Floyd) on her last album 'Baby Blue' is quite gorgeous.

I was about to namecheck the "Fearless" cover. Very great.

Also, I credit Mary Lou Lord for getting me into The Bevis Frond.
