Trying to make a mixtape for new parents on the joys of dadhood/parenthood but only came up with a few so I could use some suggestions --thanks in advance

Semisonic's "Closing Time" is about a child's birth. That one may stop a little early in the process for your tape :) but it's a touching lyric.

I think that might be a different "Closing Time" than the one I've heard.

It's in the book by their drummer--I never imagined the lyric was about a birth either. "This room won't be open 'til your brothers or your sisters come." It's a nice lyric.
