I have written a review of Boards of Canada's 'Geogaddi' which you can read here. Hopefully I have something fresh to say about it. I'm pretty new to the reviewing game, so tips and constructive criticism would be nice.

Keith, I think your review is much better than the album. The time travel idea is interesting.

perhaps you could've cut back some of the copy. a simple "this album is amazing and you need to own it" would do. but then again, i'm a designer, not a writter. incidently, the white copy on the blue background is kinda hard on the eyes. sorry, that has nothing to do with the article itself tho. you do a very effective job of explaining the atmosphere of the album, which is what the boc is all about.

dyson, there must be something strange about your eyes because studies have consistently shown that the single most readable colour configuration is white text on a blue background. Strange, no?

Did they use this web page in the study, Andrew? It hurt my eyes, too. I can't really read it. I've long understood that black text on a light gray background is optimal (thus the design of the original www). Also serifs help.

um, what studies?

Obviously not these studies. ;)

I must admit I had been told that this was the case, and since it held true for me (I personally find it really easy to read) I believed it.
