I think the single piano note at the end of "Chrome-Plated Megaphone of Destiny" is supposed to reference the crashing chord at the end of "Day in the Life," but yeah, he's parodying styles here, not specific songs. Except for "Flower Punk" of course.

Are the songs really supposed to parody specific songs? I think its just a freely creative satire, but man do I liek this record, minus the weird sound scapes
