Please don't get on my case, but I think the cd "Loss" is fantastic. What are your criticisms, praise..etc...?

It's lovely. It's the kind of widescreen, yearning quintessentially Scottish pop that hasn't been made by anyone young and fresh for years. I saw Col and co at ULU at the back end of last year and it was the best gig I saw all year. It's a pity that it's Q rather than the NME that are readier to lay claims to the MHS, as it's young bands like them that could rehabilitate the rump that's left of imaginative guitar pop in the UK ...

I've dl some of the material off of "Loss" and find it quite entertaining.

Nothing but praise. The first two singles were completely lovely and so I was well looking forward to the album, which didn't disappoint me at all. If anything the only thing that possibly lets him down is his voice, but personally I rather like it.

Oh, one criticism - their sleeve artwork is pretty crap.

Yeah, superb album. It's just lovely, isn't it? A bit like if The Beta Band and Super Furry Animals had a go at playing Teenage Fanclub's Grand Prix. And there's no higher praise than that.
