What a fantastic band on all conceivable levels.

I think my brother worked on a video for these and said that they were quite nice.

But maybe I'm thinking of Dogs Die in Hot Cars.

Or someone else.

I have never knowingly heard them.

Raw Patrick, Thursday, 3 July 2008 11:53 (seventeen years ago)

Candidate for worst cover art of any band, ever.

Had two good singles in a row last year! Which is two more than most actual indie acts amirite?

I DJed at a wedding last year and Biffy Clyro seemed to be the best man and the ushers. Nice chaps, if hairy - requested a lot of Michael Jackson.

They sound too much like Coldplay though really.

CharlieNo4, Thursday, 3 July 2008 12:11 (seventeen years ago)

All that Milo Manara art they used was pretty wtf.

Raw Patrick, Thursday, 3 July 2008 12:28 (seventeen years ago)

That lass has only got one arm.

NickB, Thursday, 3 July 2008 12:35 (seventeen years ago)

The Ideal Height morelike the ideal number of arms amirite lads??

DJ Mencap, Thursday, 3 July 2008 12:56 (seventeen years ago)

No, that's not right at all

DJ Mencap, Thursday, 3 July 2008 12:56 (seventeen years ago)

the album they released last year was some TERRIBLE FUCKIN EMO BULLSHIT but up to that point i liked them a lot. some great singles, good live show.

Roberto Spiralli, Thursday, 3 July 2008 13:21 (seventeen years ago)

Guh!

NickB, Thursday, 3 July 2008 13:47 (seventeen years ago)

That CD went for £250, which seems totally mental to me. There's one for sale on Amazon for £150, so some gimp paid basically £100 for their signatures? Wowee.

I haven't especially liked what I've heard (and I know Kerr isn't a fan) but the lead songwriter of one of my favourite bands (Oceansize) has them up there with Cardiacs and Mr. Bungle in his favourite bands roster so they must have more to them than tricksy post-emo.

The cover art for "The Vertigo Of Bliss" was so offputting I had to return the CD.
