Just recently heard the limited-edition Radioland. It's nice, though I don't know if it's worth purchasing yet. Plus, it's impossible to find (all copies bought up, I don't know)
Hidden Name w/Janke Schaefer is great. Very exquisite, Philip Jeck-like repetitions and warmth. I want to hear more sublime records like this. What else in Mathieu's oeuvre is worth checkin' out?

I have the Sad Mac album which has the track Luft Von Anderen Planeten on. It sounds like the woods round the back of where I live in August. Sometimes I walk home that way and get an ice cream. I think you will like this if you like sycamores

Sad Mac Studies is my fave.
Summer 12" also very good, and I really like his track from the Good Night (Music To Sleep To) comp.
Touch EP also pretty good.
He really has this cozy density in his sound that is right up my alley.

I used to have Frequency Lib. I recall it being more crude than the more recent Mathieu tracks I've heard. I do remember one of the tracks used sample of 'soma' by the smashing pumpkins but can't recall much else. It has pleasing, colorful album art. I think that's why I bought it.

I've been listening to this guy a lot, late at night on headphones. I found a copy of Die Entdeckung Des Wetters I forgot I had and it's beautiful. The Falling Rocket and Un Cœur Simple are also new favorites, I forgot how much I like this music, reminds me of noises I hear at work but hushed and made beautiful or a distillation of certain Popol Vuh albums or flying saucer attack. 'On Tape' is especially lovely with acoustic instruments more upfront and ambient noises, birds, bells. I wish I still had this collaboration with Ekkehard Ehlers.

only played VII so far, but it's everything you could want. was very into 'remain' several years back, but VII seems duly textured where that tended toward purity or refinement.
