Tough choice - a lot of sleepers on that list.

I was momentarily fooled by the thread title into believing (despite logic) that Sleeper had been added to the bill.

the whole point of doing a "sleeper" poll was to get away from the obvious DO NOT MISS performances, of which MBV is first and foremost, no doubt. i'm sure all 3,000 or so people will be at that one.

I saw Edan and Dagha's most recent set in London and it's really fun.

xpost are you kidding about Low? absolutely one of my favorite live bands on the planet. soooo great.

also, question for anyone who knows... how do ATP set times work? are there gonna be overlaps? choose A vs. B for a certain time slot? or with only 30 bands at this one, do you think they'll be staggered so i can see everything i wanna see?

Harmonia, Om, Meat Puppets, Wooden Shjips, Sonic Boom, Edan=All things I would very much like to see.

Low are much better in a 300 capacity club, playing to their own fans. (This is true of almost every live show, mind.)

I think I voted for Harmonia? I don't put much thought into voting in these things in most cases.

The Meat Puppets doing II sounds promising but, I am dubious that they will actually pull it off. No Bostrom, drug addled bassist...

fuck buttons. not seen them live yet, playing the shit out of the album.

Would love to see Fuck Buttons and Harmonia (have seen before and would definitely go again), Wooden Shjips and Polvo (have not seen and probably never will, sigh). Would quite like to see the Tortoise set.

Like Thurston Moore and all but have pretty much no desire to see him recreate anything from Psychic Hearts; likewise, Bob Mould in 2008 and Le Volume Courbe in any year seem worth avoiding. Saw the Drones once and went and hid in the bar downstairs.

I don't know about American ATPs but the UK ones I've been to (not for years but I think it's the same now) have overlaps between the times on the two stages, plus at least one of them running late.

Fuck Buttons bored me to tears live.

Lilys, maybe? there's a bunch of stuff on the list of acts that I'd have got all hot & bothered about in the late '90's but I'm a bit meh about now.

I dunno, I never saw em in their prime. But it sounded pretty good for Meat Puppets in 2007, nice 'n loose 'n jittery.

the drones are awesome on record. I bet they'd kick arse live. therefore they have my vote, since I don't think of Low as a "sleeper."
