D&D metal, that's me. Why else am I buying Tool tickets right this very second?

This is, of course, the back cover of THE GRAND ILLUSION by Styx. It may be a bit too small to see here, but look.....follow the tree down between drummer John P. and Tommy Shaw....right around the "all rights reserved" notice on the very bottom of the sleeve....don't you see it? IT'S A SILHOUTTE OF A GOAT'S HEAD!!!!! STYX WORSHIP THE DEVIL!!! IT'S TRUE, I TELL YOU!

Hmmm...that's odd. Well, it *WAS* the back cover of Styx's GRAND ILLUSION, for a little while at least....until Tripod decided to intervene. They must know something. That's it, they're covering it up. They too are in league with dark forces. The children of the beast are all around us. No one is safe, cleary.

Actually, Tracer, I see three faces: an angelic duck, a satanic duck, and Morrissey duck

Brian MacDonald, Friday, 10 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Or the angelic duck could just be a duck doing yoga. I like how the Morrissey duck is resting its chin on its hand.

Brilliant comparison, of course, you wonderful man.

Alex, I am quite sure that Kid606 slips in the occasional AOL visual ad in his musick but I doubt Tripod is sponsoring any bands. Certainly not Styx. Wouldn't their fans be more Linux wuvvers?

nathalie, Friday, 10 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

nah, I just happened to lift a pic of the back cover of THE GRAND ILLUSION from a fan site that, I suppose, was on Tripod.Com. I reckon they don't take kindly to such pilferage (as they're in league with Satan, after all), so that explains it.

Windowlicker, track 2: has anybody tried it?
