My one time there as a performer was amusing.

Have had the most *sustained* fun with The Mae Shi I guess but I like Health, Mika Miko and Upsilion's records just fine

carla seems too old to play at the smell. i was there a few weeks ago and felt like a grandma.

the first I ever heard of The Smell in the late 90s was always hearing about Carla's projects playing shows there, which I'd always be jealous of since she so rarely toured on the east coast.

old'n'gray or not, i think carla could kick most these guys' asses. latter-day avant-dorks seem like such wusses.
