POLL: Best Track on Walker Brothers' "Portrait"

Generally considered their best album. This is the expanded CD edition, with all the singles/bonus tracks. Will it be the sensual jazz-cum-harpsichord version of "Summertime"? The pipe organ drenched darkness of "Archangel"? The Beatles-emulative "My Love Is Growing"?

This is near-impossible one for me. Still scratching my head over the possibilities...I am even tempted to vote for "The Gentle Rain".

Always loved "Archangel" which again demonstrates the seamless continuity in Scott's work from start to end; the dragging chains reappear, at the same tempo and in the same key, halfway through "Lullabye" by Ute Lemper nearly forty years later.

"Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore" is just too perfect to avoid.

"After The Lights Go Out" is great.

The version of "Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore" on this extended CD, however, sounds like a different, flatter-sounding mix than another version I much prefer.

I had to give it to "Summertime". Just excellent.

"After the Lights Go Out", splendidly perky.

"Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore" obviously but "Mrs. Murphy" is perfect Scott nonsense
