Gotta be "Grindin'." It's like "We Are The World" except good.

Dingbod Kesterson, Thursday, 24 July 2008 10:20 (seventeen years ago)

The DJ Khaled ringtone posse cut aesthetic is rapidly becoming my favourite thing in music right now.

deej, Thursday, 24 July 2008 12:21 (seventeen years ago)

lol @ corricktions ross though

deej, Thursday, 24 July 2008 12:22 (seventeen years ago)

gotta vote for one of the Jeezy singles, those were the ones that really made me feel like they've got some range and aren't total one trick ponies.

this list should really have "Where Da Cash At" as an option.

singles poll

i'm voting for "go getta" w/ "cash flow" and "hustlin" behind it

J0rdan S., Thursday, 24 July 2008 12:56 (seventeen years ago)

understated horns on "out here grindin" are a pretty nice touch

J0rdan S., Thursday, 24 July 2008 12:57 (seventeen years ago)

"Where Da Cash At" charted. I heard it on the radio a lot more than "Slap" or "Bet That"!

some dude, Thursday, 24 July 2008 12:59 (seventeen years ago)

hmmmmm this is hard

'so hood' and 'grinding' get props for pwning cool & dre on their own shit, but i like runners more for the slidey windowpane organ and hammer horror stylez so maybe 'born-n-raised' cos 'hustlin' is beyond played out

that said 'go getta' is too much of a banger to front on, so that

r|t|c, Thursday, 24 July 2008 13:02 (seventeen years ago)

only heard 'Slap' but loved it

blueski, Thursday, 24 July 2008 13:03 (seventeen years ago)

whatever happened to flo-rida / ross 'birthday' btw, didnt even make the album?? good beat

also was 'all the above' not a single

r|t|c, Thursday, 24 July 2008 13:06 (seventeen years ago)

Yeah, I forgot about the Beanie track! I really liked that one.

some dude, Thursday, 24 July 2008 13:08 (seventeen years ago)

Too $hort/Runners was a really jarring combination, though

some dude, Thursday, 24 July 2008 13:16 (seventeen years ago)

i dunno it kinda makes sense on that one, like he's cowering from keyshzilla

r|t|c, Thursday, 24 July 2008 13:21 (seventeen years ago)

hmm yknow for supposed bombast merchants runners instrumentals really are very listenable by themselves! not every big producer could say the same.

r|t|c, Thursday, 24 July 2008 13:28 (seventeen years ago)

Went for "Slap" which I didn't even know was them.

The Reverend, Friday, 25 July 2008 07:10 (seventeen years ago)

GO GETTA

max, Friday, 25 July 2008 07:12 (seventeen years ago)

I think they're pretty cool - I knew nothing about them other than that they're making some of my favorite rap to blast loud right now. When I think of their synths I think Miami automatically. Even Toomp is kind of copying their style on his sub-par cuts. Glad to hear they're making themselves known on both mixtape cuts and the radio right now.

skygreenleopard, Saturday, 26 July 2008 01:39 (seventeen years ago)

Also, is it stupid that I think it's cool one of them is white? (I'm not white, btw - is that more stupid?)

skygreenleopard, Saturday, 26 July 2008 01:40 (seventeen years ago)

I'm not white, btw

The Reverend, Saturday, 26 July 2008 09:44 (seventeen years ago)

Whiney G. Weingarten, Wednesday, 30 July 2008 00:09 (seventeen years ago)

ILX System, Wednesday, 30 July 2008 23:01 (seventeen years ago)

wtf is up with "Slap" being so (relatively) popular

some dude, Wednesday, 30 July 2008 23:03 (seventeen years ago)

Ace Hood featuring T-Pain & Rick Ross - Cash Flow 0

better than the top 2

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 30 July 2008 23:03 (seventeen years ago)

yeah seriously

slap was one of the worst songs on release therapy which is saying something

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 30 July 2008 23:04 (seventeen years ago)
