i am leaning towards choreography although euthenics and child's play also deserve consideration.

I guess I'm surprised this hasn't been reissued as well. I don't remember being all that crazy about it, but I'd like to hear it again nonetheless.

a strange and difficult post-punk album. moments of brilliance, punctuated with sax. deserves a reissue. i'm going with 'Euthenics'. early exposure via the pre-LP 7" makes it a comfortable fave.

I used to have a tape of their songs someone made me. I loved it but I can't remember which song had which title. There was one with awesome metallic tapping and whirring as a rhythm track.

Would love to get a copy of this album.

I'm going with "Second Still". Yes, this needs to be reissued ASAP.

x-post ::
so ned, did your friends band ever do the cover of euthenics (you mentioned on another thread)?

drone/a/sore, Wednesday, 30 July 2008 17:40 (seventeen years ago)

...not sure.

Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 30 July 2008 17:44 (seventeen years ago)

i have this on mp3, i can ysi it if people are interested?

x-post max::
i would appreciate a ysi as my version of real hymn cuts off abruptly.

Only two votes is pretty sad

Listening now. Music is okay but something about the singer's whispery vocals bugs me a bit.

Bimble Is Still More Goth Than You, Saturday, 16 August 2008 21:39 (seventeen years ago)

Yeah, I would've voted...but I don't like them very much.

Wow, a proper replacement for my noisy LP rip, woohoo! Missing b-sides "Special Patrol", "The Look A Smack" and "Benched Down / 70s Sixties", guess the band didn't rate those.

Gerald McBoing-Boing, Saturday, 22 October 2022 14:23 (three years ago)

Brandon Capps of Half String, an FB friend, noted no Peel Sessions or a particular Richard Skinner session. Theoretically those plus the other tracks you note could have made a 3CD package, maybe they were unsure of demand? Or indeed the band, who are involved, just don't rate them.

Ned Raggett, Saturday, 22 October 2022 15:29 (three years ago)

I have MP3s of the b-sides and Peel session, and a live gig, if anyone wants them.
