beloved of many an office worker after "loaded" potato skins and long island iced teas.

it's fun party music, definitely. i don't know if the office worker thing was a jibe ... the covers are beautiful. jetset - beyond david candy, anything else? reminds me of revola reissues, just strange off beat releases that would ahve been released and quickly forgetten about in the sixties.

Death By Chocolate
A Bennigan's original. It's Dutch Chocolate ice cream and nutty Rocky Road ice cream, mixed with Twix Cookie Bars, then dipped in a rich chocolate sauce. Served on top of a crumbled chocolate cookie crust with a side of hot chocolate topping, it's killer.

if i was ireland, i'd be suing bennigan's for defamation of character.

up until paul's post this was like the battle of the sarcasm-impared!

jess, Sunday, 12 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

they also do the lollipop train records, which include the all-time classic 'teenage trifle' on the simulataneous ice-cream comp

Doomie, is that indeed an all new album, a rareties collection or what? I've been confused about it because "Zap the World" was a song on a Jetset comp from a couple of years ago.

(Gee, this board sure is overrun with attitude comedians, lately.)

Curt, Sunday, 12 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

"lately."

jess, Sunday, 12 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

It's a new album - we recorded Zap The World in a completely different way to the SFTJS version. There are two other covers: one from Smashing Time...& a Barbara Windsor song. Plus, it comes on luvverly Opal Fruit coloured vinyl.

jez - ois that on siesta or some other label?

g, Monday, 13 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Yes, although I thought it wasn't due until the end of May. I think a Jetset release is imminent as well.

one month passes...
i just saw the cover of this album in the store today and was intrigued by it. i'm now hearing a little snippet of 'land of chocolate' i think from a previous lp. looks like not too many people have much to say about this group. last chance to educate me on it, before i just go and buy it anyway!
