I thought these guys were the shiz for a musical duration of about four minutes when they came out. In exactly the same way as I did people like Cex and Gold Chains a couple of years later. I've always been pretty comfortable with obsolescence in my music so it's all good to me

like DJ Mencap i was seriously into these guys for a while. saw them live like 4 times or something ridiculous - actually the live show was great fun. i bet Boss and Let Down would still sound good but i've no idea where my copies are.

i dug the first album some, the second not so much. can't really stand it now

Any hope this band had of occupying a pleasant place in the late alt-rock landscape was doomed by Ms. Muffin, who has one of the most unpleasant voices/deliveries in rock. For whatever reason I taped "Work It Out" off MTV2 and then had to sit through it every time I watched that tape. Jesus. At least it wasn't "Play Some D."
