Yeah I'm glad we figured that out because that lyric was the main reason why that song bugged me, cause it just sounds stupid. I can kindof forgive it if there's a reason for it like that, though.

I mean that's what Wikipedia claims, but I prefer the idea that either a) they are "placeholder" lyrics that the songwriter couldn't be bothered to change (which is funny because it's their biggest selling song and that scenario appeals to a kind of Warhol idea of anything being better than something you've spent months fussing over), or b) the entire band was doing bowls full of coke by the pool and just writing down what they saw.
