The title track is the one that seems the most like a proper song here. So that one.

I keep hearing "Home Computer" in my head.

Bimble is a happy bimble which listens to this album.

This is one of those weird albums where pretty much every song is as good as every other song. Well apart from maybe Computer Love, but I think that'll walk it so I went for Home Computer for the evilness factor.

Computer Love, for it's melancholic beauty. And it sounds like a proper song to me.

I also like the Mix version, which I had heard first.

"Computer Love" is soooo beautiful; it's got the brittle, wintry melancholy that Moroder and Phil Oakey would exploit for "Together in Electric Dreams."

Yes, I would like to think we all understand that Computer Love is the best Kraftwerk song ever (Grimly Fiendish will back me up here) but some people are just not in the know.

Every song is genuis, but for me Home Computer is the unsung hero of this album. What a bridge! Truly amazing.

Before I joined ILM, I didn't know how to spell the word genuis. Now, I are one.

This is clearly "Computer Love" vs the beat for "Numbers". I could listen to the first 30 seconds of "Numbers" on a continuous loop from now until forever, but "Computer Love" is the better song.

There's not a bad track on this album -- it is one complete piece. But I'd have to go with the title track if pressed.

Computer Love. I listened to this album over and over on a discman outside a pool at a disney world resort several years back. I could definitely feel the love on Computer Love. Computer World is probably my second favorite. That same trip to disney world I really got into Amnesiac - I think it just came out.

ask me on the right day and this is my favourite album of all time. ask me on another and it's not even my favourite kraftwerk album (radio-activity will always have a very special place in my heart). right now, though -- coldly, dispassionately, thinking about this as a selection of astonishing pieces of work -- i'm leaning towards the former.

yes, i will, and i don't think i'd ever argue otherwise. it is quite simply one of the most beautiful pieces of melancholy i've ever heard. i'd have been, what, six when i first heard it and i think a tiny but vital part of my temporal lobes is now wired to respond to it and nothing but. and the coda ... my god. it's electronic baroque.
