Not your average huckleberry hound. The great man's solo breakthrough. Pretty certain how this will go, but let's talk about it.

I'm voting "Get Dressed," so it'll have at least one vote.

Shakey Mo Collier, Thursday, 7 August 2008 23:38 (seventeen years ago)

this album is pretty great but I never dug his doo-wop moments (Free Alterations = no thank you)

Shakey Mo Collier, Thursday, 7 August 2008 23:38 (seventeen years ago)

did you like them in Funkadelic?

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Thursday, 7 August 2008 23:39 (seventeen years ago)

I love that doo-wop was still important enough to him to fit it into the mix sometimes. Doubly fun given the subject of something like "Free Alterations."

There's certainly some doowop in The Electric Spanking of War Babies.

I'm tempted to vote for "Man's Best Friend/Loopzilla", but there's no avoiding the inevitable. Bow wow wow yippie-yo yippie-yay.

I'd be interested in seeing the results of an Electric Spanking poll.

How many people have actually heard it?

"Atomic Dog" aside, nothing on Computer Games is as great as "Icka Prick."

Alfred, Lord Sotosyn, Monday, 11 August 2008 14:21 (seventeen years ago)

I have all the Funkadelic stuff, incl Electric Spanking (which is pretty great). but yeah I never went for their doowop moments either really, apart from maybe one or two exceptions
