I can't vote, it's impossible to choose.

Pashmina, Friday, 29 August 2008 17:18 (seventeen years ago)

orgone accumulator.

latebloomer, Friday, 29 August 2008 17:34 (seventeen years ago)

all of 'em really but that one's so catchy.

latebloomer, Friday, 29 August 2008 17:35 (seventeen years ago)

It's impossible to unpick this album into individual tracks. So I guess it is prog after all. "Born to go" is another standout moment, though.

Soukesian, Friday, 29 August 2008 17:41 (seventeen years ago)

Yeah I voted Born To Go (the 1st one)

Colonel Poo, Friday, 29 August 2008 18:33 (seventeen years ago)

"Brainstorm" is a sleeper.

bmus, Friday, 29 August 2008 19:08 (seventeen years ago)

...but "Master of the Universe" is my vote.

Then you have still made a choice.

Trip Maker, Friday, 29 August 2008 22:09 (seventeen years ago)

one year passes...

Today its nice and sunny and the sunshine has drawn me towards 'Space Ritual'. Be nice to yourself and give 'Orgone Accumulator' a spin, you know you want to.

AnotherDeadHero, Monday, 12 April 2010 17:28 (fifteen years ago)

I played this last week for the first time in about a year; absolutely stunning. Every time I hear it I wonder why I don't listen to it more often.

EZ Snappin, Monday, 12 April 2010 17:30 (fifteen years ago)

Found an original copy of IN SEARCH OF SPACE this weekend that is in v v good shape and has the freaking COMIC BOOK in it.
So awesome.

The cymbals ruin this record for me.
Or maybe I just got a shitty mastered copy.

Ask The Answer Man (sexyDancer), Saturday, 7 April 2012 21:40 (thirteen years ago)

Must be cause I've never noticed the cymbals especially.

Oxnard Cohen (GOTT PUNCH II HAWKWINDZ), Sunday, 8 April 2012 03:34 (thirteen years ago)

me neither and i've listened to this record more than any other.

stirmonster, Sunday, 8 April 2012 07:55 (thirteen years ago)

naw man the cymbals are an essential part of the whooooooooosh

gimme prizza (crüt), Sunday, 8 April 2012 07:58 (thirteen years ago)

four years pass...

If you avoided this album because you figured it was hippy dippy crap... boy was I wrong. I am shocked by what this actually is, and how I much I fucking love it.

wishy washy hippy variety hour (Hunt3r), Monday, 16 May 2016 23:10 (nine years ago)

"Space is Deep" is maybe my favorite moment on the album, when they go into that wordless 2-chord jam at the end and there are crazy space sounds blasting off. it sounds like how the end of 2001 looks.
