Why are the bootleg beatles on the bill of an '80's fest? Or
Boney M? Or an ABBA covers band? I'd probably be curious to see Mari Wilson, but I doubt I'd buy a ticket for the whole event just for that.

Didn't David Van Day from Dollar join after they'd deteriorated to the oldies curcuit, then take over and tour as Bucks Fizz without any of the others? So I guess this is a post lawsuit version with Mike whatsisname and his wife or whatever. My younger sis used to hang around Radio 1 when she was about 14 so she knew all these people - I remember a poignant story about a sad day in the Modern Romance office when they made the decision to pull the plug on the fan club. They had precisely one letter begging them to carry on with it.
