Went for Duran Duran with their best single since "The Wild Boys".

Otherwise not a lot worth voting for on this CD, but the Stereo MCs one was nice.

Between Helmet,Sugar and Dinosaur Jr. Tho that is my fave Duran Duran track.

"Start Choppin" is easily the best post-Barlow Dino Jr. single and will get my vote thusly (unless "Not You Again" was a single, in which case I am wrong). Most of these songs are terrible, even from a nostalgiac standpoint. The first two discs serve their purpose much more effectively.

This boils down to Jump Around vs. Rump Shaker. Both still kill on the dance floor. I finally went for Jump Around.

I still can't work out who on earth these compilations were aimed at, and who compiled them. Or indeed what they were trying to do.

Anyway, En Vogue by quite a huge margin. Sugar probably the second best. A lot of this is terrible though, and that's even while giving the benefit of the doubt to the stuff I haven't heard.

That may be the most confused tracklisting I've ever seen, though it did make me go "lol 90s", so I guess job done.

(Without having heard it or most of the others for nearly a decade the Sugar track is probably my favourite, but that doesn't pack the "lol 90s" factor so much as "oh yeah, 90s", so not sure it's appropriate to vote for)

DETACHABLE P*N*S!!!! (I bet work filter won't let me post that.)

Supported King Missle back in the day. (But then again, who hasn't?)

Helmet, no doubt

I chose "Under The Bridge" cos it's a really good song albiet absurdly overplayed, but I should have chose "Unsung." Whoops.

My sentiments exactly. This was midway through my college run, and a few of these songs are sledgehammers for me in that regard; but of Duran Duran, Wrex, and Sugar, I ultimately went with the latter.

Jump Around vs Connected for me. Really tough in the present day since I sort of rediscovered "Connected" recently...but I mean, "Jump Around" has made me happy so many fucking times.

I would also like to give honorable mentions to "My Name Is Mud" for no good reason, and "Informer" for being really infectious while really boring to actually perform.

Automatic thread bump. This poll is closing tomorrow.

My Name Is Mud deserved a vote probably.

Jay Z ripped off Rump Shaker for his Budweiser ad.

"Under the Bridge" should've placed a lot higher. How sad is it that it got the same number of votes as "Informer"?

Haha no. Because a) "Informer" is awesome and b) "Under The Bridge" is both epic in certain ways and also insufferable.
