Two full listens so far.

First time (full of wine, playing Scrabble) : what the HELL is this shit? Second time, listened and had to go for a bit of a lie down.

Top bloke.

aye, but possibly one of the worst records ever made

I began listening to it, thinking the synth stuff was pretty bad, and he'd probably do better to stick to guitar rock. Then, around track 6, the guitar rock came on and proved me wrong. By about track 9 I had to kill it.

He may be the ugliest man in rock.

The album isn't all that bad, but when I saw him play live. It was just him, his guitar and a prerecorded band. It was lame, but he did have some cool videos playing behind him.

I actually like the new album quite a bit, though I really could do without the vocal manipulation in track one. I mean, it's not the best thing I've ever heard--I'll admit that I love Bob for his loud walls of guitars--but it's certainly good enough when you remove yr mouldy expectations from the equation.

i'd fuck him, but goddamnit the thought of bob with a synth makes me sick.

I want to know what happened to his claim that, after the Last Dog and Pony Show, he was going to be a purely acoustic performer, with a stool and a growl? I was really looking forward to that

i like it, certainly a lot better than the mostly-dullsville dog and pony rekkid...
