I think this got lost in an ILX outage or something...I mean it seems like a good idea for a thread to me.

Love both the songs tremendously of course. Search: The Beach Boys' German recording of "In My Room," changed to "Ganz Allein" ("All Alone").

It may or may not say something about me that I prefer the Drifters record and the flip of "In My Room," "Be True to Your School."

man, you really know how to twist the knife ina guy. the Drifters for me, too--but only 'cause the friggin' room ain't got as much space in it as the roof does (duh).

God, "Up On The Roof" really is as good as it gets. Dunno how I even thought there was a competition here - the idea of your cares being able to just radiate out of you and up into spaaaaace is really beautiful I think.
