Fightin' and trouble are my middle name 1
I owe my soul to the company store 1
Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go 1
One fist of iron, the other of steel 1
Muscle and blood and skin and bones 1
If you see me comin', better step aside 0
If the right one don't a-get you 0
Cain't no-a high-toned woman make me walk the line 0
I was raised in the canebrake by an ol' mama lion 0
Some people say a man is made outta mud 0
I was born one mornin', it was drizzlin' rain 0
And the straw boss said "Well, a-bless my soul" 0
I loaded sixteen tons of number nine coal 0
I picked up my shovel and I walked to the mine 0
Another day older and deeper in debt 0

My sister and I sang this song over and over to each other on the swingset as young little kids.

I can't vote for anything other than A lotta men didn't, a lotta men died, but there are a bunch of lines that deserve votes.

The version I have on my computer has "The straw boss hollered, 'Well, damn your soul!'" However, it doesn't include the "One fist of iron, the other of steel" bit, which is essential.
