Julian Cope - Black Sheep

Absolutely loving it. I haven't heard his recent albums, so I can't decide whether it is a return to form, or it's the standard Cope album.

its his best album since Jehovakill: Citizen Cain'd was good, and there have been moments of sheer brilliance here and there in the last years, but Black Sheep is the first fully fledged Cope album in years.

Spot on. Black Sheep is an amazing return to form. I never though I'd see the day. The picture on the front of Cope and co wearing full leathers in a field didn't promise much either, it has to be said!!!

The band photos are so unappealing to be almost good...well, not really.
But some of the songs have that Fried-like haunting quality, the one I was waiting for a long long time.
