I think AC DC are by far the most spiffing band the planet has ever spawned. Anyone agree?

i totally love early ACDC! stuff like "whole lotta rosey" etc, they totally rocked.

I enjoy seeing people who don`t like AC DC sitting at a table when one of their records is on the jukebox. Involuntary foot tapping or what! As a musician I can say that they possess the unquantifiable quality of SWING. I`ve seen millions of really good AC DC tribute bands (well, about 4 or 5) and they mimic the songs superbly - BUT THEY NEVER SWING!! And neither did the lads while Phil Rudd and Cliff Williams were seperated.

I grew up on AD DC so I'm very fond of them. While other metal bands like Iron Maiden were singing stoopid songs about ancient mariners and acting all tough-like AC DC had songs about getting laid and eating fish and chips. They had a sense of humour and their songs were about real life. When they sang 'Blow up your video' they were singing directly to you. Blow the fucking thing up! They really really ROCKED.
