Arrrrrrgh . . I no longer keep enough (any) drugs in the house to make a proper assessment. Gut feeling is Half-Machine Lip Moves, but actually more of the track titles from Alien Soundtracks evoke immediate memories. Will drag out the vinyls.

Third From The Sun is enormous, but let's not muddy the bongwater any further.

Well there is a some other chrome album option.

hmlm gets better as it progresses, whereas alien soundtracks kind of trails off... but the run of tracks 1-6 on alien soundtracks is unmatched in the canonical chrome albums.

"chromosome damage" is one of my all-time fave album openers. I like how it lays out the ground rules for everything they would do after that point in one fail swoop.

Alien Soundtracks is actually slightly ahead for me - I really like ST37. I'll give it some more time though.

quite difficult to answer, but its Alien Soundtracks - because its the first Chrome album I listened to and there's Nova Feedback.
