Those strange bangs with the mobile phone holder.

Slightly off-thread, but I remember BBC Radio One DJ of maximum yore Simon Bates creating a moment of poetry imagining a busful of old folks of the future cruising to the coast somewhere, on a dayaway, singing along to the chart hits of their youth: in this case, Laurie Anderson's 'O Superman'

This has always moved me.

There's a New Yorker cartoon along those lines that appears every ten years or so: swish upper West Side couple in luxurious apartment stopped in their tracks by a song on the radio (Hound Dog/Anarchy in the UK/Smack Your Bitch Up/etc) and exclaiming "Darling! It's our tune!"

Dude, i'm not gonna wear '80s/'90s/'00s vines even when that' s all there is left in the last thrift store in the world. i'm gonna have to go to a bespoke tailor & go " Make me a suit like this" & show 'em a photo of me when i was 15. It's not just a posey fashion thing, i just feel like i'm wearing some weird uncomfortable disguise if i wear anything made after about 1978.

This question is written in a very peculiar fashion. Is it some sort of late-Surrealist poem?

Surrealist poem begets surrealist poem: "Those strange bangs with the mobile phone holder." I have no idea what this means but I love it, and am glad I read it.

ha ha! I met bags! like the ones designed for Nokia 5110's. I need to get some kind of quality control in my postings.

D+G...what, me? Will I be worn in the future? Probably.
