This deserves its own thread. The songs from the unreleased version have been available for a while, but the ones from that that appear here have vastly improved sound, at least over the version I had snagged.
Curious if anyone outside of the usual LB fanclub has bought it. See generally rapturish reviews from all over the spectrum here:

I'm somewhat pleasantly shocked to see that it's #57 in sales rank on Amazon and #48 on Billboard. At the moment I'm going to say it's my favorite of his solo albums, and 2-3 songs are among my favorite Fleetwood Mac related tracks period (Gift of Screws, Wait for You, The Right Place to Fade) all of which are rocking Lindsey more than fingerpicking Lindsey. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any major "Classic Rock" artist who could come out with anything remotely as interesting these days.

Oh man, forgot about that apostrophe thing.

Dylan? Erm....Fleetwood Mac?
I reviewed this for the Voice a few weeks ago. It's more than ok, but like much of his solo work all that static prettiness wears on me.

Ha ha, funny. I was going to say something about the Voice Review but then edited it from my post! Kind of interesting that the Voice and Spin were the two lowest ratings on metacritic.
Not sure if Fleetwood Mac counts, especially since some of the better songs from Say You Will came verbatim from the original Gift of Screws, though yeah, I loved Say You will. Dylan...never appealed to me much, so I can't really comment.

Hey, if you disagree, it won't offend me.

I also need to figure out which of the original demos still haven't come out. So far it looks like his cover of Gotta Get Away doesn't seem to appear anywhere else, and that reminded me that a full Stones covers album by him would apparently be a pretty great thing, since he's been chipping away at one of late.

I like this a lot. I'm seeing him next week; does anyone know what his shows are like these days? Who's backing him up, if anyone? I presume it's not Fleetwood and McVie.

does anyone know what his shows are like these days?
Dunno who his band is, but the shows are split between acoustic and full-band portions.
