A local club here will be hosting an Ipod battle. Each participant will play 1 song and they will measure the audience reaction (how many dBs, that kind of thing). I may be participating, and was thinking of playing "It's a kid world" by Disco Inferno, because is probable that few people have listened it, but will be familiar because of the Lust for life sample.
But what would you play? The limit here is 4:21 per song.

Just play Lust for Life ffs. This is not about establishing your indie cred.

also, regardless of what kind of club it is, which is probably important here, the always-right answer is "Jump Around".

I agree, I doubt I'll be accepting any iPod Battle event invitations on the 'book any time soon.

Are you sure cos I can't think what else would make this a remotely worthwhile exercise

Ha, ha I think that the point is that the prize is an Ipod Touch.
Rigth now I'm thinking of playing something very annoying, like something from mr.oizo Moustache album.
That will teach them.

But this is kind of ridiculous without knowing what crowd we're playing to, what else has been played so far, and so on. Just watch as everyone one-ups each other with the latest, hottest club tracks while some asshole wins with "Louie Louie" or some similar bullshit.

I participated in last year's party. "Ice Ice Baby" won.
