when i get stuff from rhymesayers i usually can't get thru an entire cd and it ends up in the trade pile right quick. i did actually listen to the last brother ali TWICE before trading it in. so, that's progress. but this thing has 3 or 4 tracks on it that i like enough to hang onto. maybe. we'll see. i don't know jake one from a hole in the ground, but some of the stuff on here is as cool as the other side of a cucumber (apologies to stuart scott). and he's got a couple of mix tapes worth of people on here to keep things interesting. and most of them aren't slug.

there was a little talk about this on the rolling ringtone thread. i like some of it a lot, some of it is whatever. why does doom sound so lame
pretty funny guest list imo. hearing a track with young buck come after a track with mf doom is pretty surreal

i really like the track with bishop lamont and busta rhymes. and "how we ride" with freeway. it's nice to hear freeway. and the track with casual is cool too.

"pretty funny guest list imo."
i like this about it. though the aboveground bangin' stuff all sounds way better than most of the more, um, "esoteric" stuff.

That's really cool packaging. I think I'll buy this because they actually put some effort into that, which I appreciate it.
Is that a special edition or something? If they are all like that, that's insane!

Freeway & Jake One's The Beat Made Me Do It mixtape is absolute killer. Freezer rapping over bare soul loops and disco beats A++
