i do not understand misogynist at all. at all. genius, though. i have a kind of hazy and disproportionate love for him since reading cassavetes on cassavetes, even for the films i'm not as keen on, just because i know the stories of the struggle to get them made, the lack of interest shown, the inventiveness of his methods and attitudes. genius genius GENIUS, cassavetes on cassavetes for most inspirational non fic i've ever read.
